How it works

Tree Urn is designed to support the early growth of a tree — simply, naturally, and with care.

You choose the tree that feels right — and when the time comes, you plant it.

Each urn is crafted from cork — a natural, breathable, and biodegradable material. Cork was chosen not just for its beauty, but for its ability to support growth.

Research shows that cork helps regulate soil pH — a key factor for healthy root development. It’s a quiet advantage that makes a lasting difference beneath the surface.

Inside, a small divider gently separates the sapling from the ashes.

This gives the tree time to establish strong roots before drawing from what’s been left behind.

Every part of the design exists to support that quiet beginning.

Step-by-Step Guide

Tree Urn - Arrive

The ashes are carefully placed into the urn by the crematorium. A natural regulator is already positioned inside to support future growth. Your Tree Urn arrives gently sealed and ready when you are.

Tree Urn - Close

There’s no rush. Tree Urn is designed to be kept nearby — at home or in a meaningful place — until you’re ready to plant.

Tree Urn - Fill

When the time comes, fill the top section with soil, water it, and add your chosen young tree or plant.

Tree Urn - Plant

Tree Urn can be planted directly into a pot or into the ground — wherever feels right for you. Water regularly.

Growth

The sapling’s roots will naturally pass through the cork and begin to draw from what’s below.

Integration

As the tree becomes established, the urn gently returns to the soil, completing the cycle.

You choose the tree.
The place. The time.
